Brian Martin is a multi-talented performer, teaching artist, and creative based in New York City. His passion and joy for Musical Theatre shine through in every aspect of his work. Originally hailing from Grand Rapids, MI, Brian honed his skills and love for the stage, earning a BFA in Music Theatre Performance from Western Michigan University and studying Shakespeare at the prestigious Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London.
Recently, Brian has graced the Broadway stage in the Tony Award Winning Musical Some Like It Hot and the heartwarming production of Mrs. Doubtfire.
Brian has been fortunate to have travelled and performed across the country with numerous shows: Bullets Over Broadway (u/s Cheech), Beauty and the Beast (u/s Lumiere), Elf, and Guys and Dolls. Also regionally at Fulton Playhouse, Paper Mill Playhouse, Ogunquit Playhouse and Wagon Wheel Theatre.
Beyond his love for performing, Brian is deeply passionate about teaching and nurturing the next generation of artists. He actively collaborates with the Open Jar Institute, allowing him to share his expertise and inspire young talent at universities, high schools, and arts programs throughout North America.
